Founded in 2008 in Nantes, France, Roboplanet specializes in robotic non-destructive testing (NDT) for ultrasonic testing (UT) and remote visual inspection (RVI). Magnetic crawler systems such as Altiscan map thickness on vertical, inverted, or damp steel surfaces while maintaining up to 1 kN (220 lbf) of adhesion. The UT_Pole telescopic probe reaches 12 m (40 ft) for overhead surveys without scaffolding. All hardware and control software are engineered and qualified in-house by a multidisciplinary R&D team to meet API 510, API 570, API 653, and ASME FFS-1 fitness-for-service requirements. ISO 9712 Level II/III technicians deploy worldwide for data capture and post-inspection maintenance. Roboplanet also provides custom rovers for submerged or confined spaces and operator training.
